People Policy (updated January 2023)

As an events agency, it is essential for us to have a comprehensive People and HR policy in place to ensure the fair treatment, safety, and well-being of all employees, contractors, and stakeholders. The following outlines our policy and our commitment to ensuring that our people are looked after both during and after their time with us.

  1. Equal Opportunities and Non-Discrimination
    a. We are committed to providing equal opportunities for all employees and contractors, regardless of race, colour, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, or any other protected status.

    b. We strictly prohibit discrimination, harassment, or retaliation in any form, including but not limited to, hiring, promotion, compensation, benefits, assignments, training, and termination.

    c. We will take prompt and appropriate action to investigate and address any complaints or reports of discrimination, harassment, or retaliation.

  2. Employee Health and Safety

    a. We prioritise the health and safety of our employees and contractors and strive to provide a safe and healthy work environment.
    b. We comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to workplace health and safety.
    c. We provide training, resources, and support to ensure employees and contractors are aware of and adhere to health and safety protocols.

  3. Fair Employment Practices

    a. We comply with all applicable labor laws and regulations, including those related to wages, hours, overtime, leaves of absence, and employee rights.

    b. We promote a positive work-life balance and respect the need for employees and contractors to take breaks, leaves, and vacations.

    c. We do not tolerate any form of forced labour, child labour, or exploitation, and we will take appropriate action to prevent, detect, and respond to any such violations.

  4. Human Slavery Statement

    a. We are committed to upholding human rights and combating human trafficking and modern slavery in all our operations and supply chains.

    b. We strictly prohibit the use of forced labor, child labor, or any form of exploitation in any aspect of our business.

    c. We conduct due diligence in our supply chains to identify and address any risks of human trafficking or modern slavery, and we expect our suppliers and contractors to comply with the same standards.

    d. We will take appropriate action, including termination of business relationships, for any violation of our human slavery policy.

  5. Employee Engagement and Development

    a. We value the skills, talents, and contributions of our employees and contractors and strive to provide opportunities for their professional growth and development.

    b. We encourage open communication, feedback, and suggestions from employees and contractors to improve our policies, practices, and work environment.

    c. We recognise and reward outstanding performance, dedication, and innovation among our employees and contractors.

  6. Confidentiality and Data Privacy

    a. We respect the confidentiality and privacy of our employees and contractors and protect their personal information in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

    b. We use employee and contractor information only for legitimate business purposes and do not disclose it to unauthorised parties without consent, unless required by law.

  7. Compliance and Reporting

    a. We expect all employees and contractors to comply with this policy, applicable laws and regulations, and our code of conduct

    b. We provide avenues for employees and contractors to report any concerns, complaints, or violations of the people/hr policy or code of conduct, and we will take appropriate action to investigate and address such reports.

    c. We will not tolerate any form of retaliation against employees or contractors who report concerns, complaints, or violations in good faith.
