Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Policy (last reviewed: July 2026)

Our Commitment

At Coveted Creates, our business exists to create experiences that inspire generosity and deliver positive social impact. As an agency specialising in fundraising events and strategic consultancy for charities, cultural institutions and purpose-led organisations, we believe corporate responsibility is embedded in everything we do.

Our commitment extends beyond delivering exceptional events. We aim to operate responsibly, minimise our environmental impact, champion ethical business practices, create an inclusive workplace and contribute positively to the communities we serve. This policy applies to all employees, associates, contractors and suppliers working on behalf of Coveted Creates.

Our Vision

Coveted Creates believes exceptional events should create more than memorable moments - they should create lasting positive impact. By combining creativity, commercial excellence and responsible business practices, we strive to deliver experiences that benefit our clients, their supporters, our people, our partners and the wider communities we serve.

1. Social Impact

Creating positive impact is central to our business.

We commit to:

  • Working primarily with organisations whose missions create measurable social, cultural or environmental benefit.

  • Designing fundraising events and campaigns that maximise charitable income and long-term supporter engagement.

  • Sharing expertise with charities through strategic advice, pro bono support and sector collaboration where appropriate.

  • Measuring not only financial outcomes but also the wider legacy and impact created through our projects.

  • Encouraging innovation that strengthens the fundraising sector and improves supporter experiences.

2. Environmental Responsibility

We recognise that the events industry has an environmental footprint and are committed to continually reducing ours.
See our separate Sustainability Policy for further details.

We will:

  • Prioritise digital communications and documentation wherever practical.

  • Encourage sustainable event design, reducing unnecessary materials, waste and single-use plastics.

  • Recommend local suppliers and venues where appropriate to minimise transport emissions.

  • Promote reuse, rental and circular economy principles when sourcing event materials.

  • Encourage responsible travel choices for our team and event attendees.

  • Work with clients and suppliers to identify opportunities to reduce carbon emissions without compromising event quality.

  • Continuously review our own business operations to reduce energy use, waste and unnecessary consumption. Sustainable event management frameworks such as ISO 20121 provide useful best-practice principles for continual improvement.

3. Our People

Our people are our greatest asset. As a team of both permanent and associate staff, we are committed to:

  • Providing a safe, supportive and inclusive working environment.

  • Recruiting, developing and promoting people based on merit and potential.

  • Promoting diversity, equity and inclusion across our workforce and supply chain.

  • Supporting flexible working where operationally possible.

  • Investing in professional development and continuous learning.

  • Protecting employee wellbeing and encouraging a healthy work-life balance.

  • Maintaining zero tolerance for discrimination, harassment or bullying.

4. Ethical Business Practices

Integrity underpins every client relationship.

We will:

  • Conduct business honestly, transparently and fairly.

  • Comply with all applicable legislation, including anti-bribery, GDPR and employment law.

  • Maintain robust governance and financial controls.

  • Protect confidential information and client data.

  • Avoid conflicts of interest and declare any potential conflicts promptly.

  • Work only with suppliers and partners whose values align with our own ethical standards.

5. Responsible Supply Chain

We recognise that our impact extends through the organisations we work with.

Where possible we will:

  • Prioritise suppliers with strong environmental and ethical credentials.

  • Encourage diversity within our supplier network.

  • Consider local businesses and social enterprises where appropriate.

  • Expect suppliers to uphold fair employment practices and comply with Modern Slavery legislation.

  • Build long-term partnerships that support innovation and responsible business practices.

6. Community Engagement

As a business built around philanthropy, we are committed to giving back.

This includes:

  • Supporting charitable initiatives beyond client work where appropriate.

  • Encouraging volunteering and skills-sharing opportunities.

  • Participating in sector events that strengthen fundraising and social impact.

  • Sharing knowledge and best practice to help improve standards across the events industry.

7. Accountability

Responsibility for this policy sits with the Directors of Coveted Creates.

We will:

  • Review this policy annually.

  • Monitor progress against our commitments.

  • Seek opportunities for continual improvement.

  • Encourage feedback from employees, clients and partners to help strengthen our approach.
